Oh, first of all, you might be wondering—why “Shushik”? Let me explain. It stuck with me from university, when my friend Katya started calling me that. Just because that’s how she felt. That’s all. After that, my life was never the same again
My road here was a bit of a scenic route. Born in Avdiivka, Donetsk region. Studied in Kharkiv. Lived a while in Kamianske. Now building things in Kyiv. If my life were a Figma file, it would have way too many artboards and none of them named homepage — but somehow it all still tells one story

Wonderfully unoriginal origin story: lockdown hit, like it did to half the internet, and I taught myself Figma from YouTube tutorials out of pure boredom. Then I won my first design competition, and that was that — no turning back
Truth is, the creative streak was there long before Figma. I was the kid folding origami, photoshopping banners for group chats, and — very seriously — designing visuals for our homegrown Eurovision simulator tournaments. So I didn't really discover design. Design just finally caught up with me
What I'm into?

Vinyl records — everything new is just the old forgotten, whether in design, fashion, or music trends
Travel — collecting cities the way i collect vinyl

Lego — coming up with a strategy, developing concentration and intellect
World of Warcraft — same as above, but with dragons and elfs

Pets and long walks — mandatory reboot time, non-negotiable
Baking & cooking — it's a form of meditation (my signature dishes are cherry borscht and matchamisu)

Wine — data-driven tasting, better results than most of A/B tests at work
If you've been part of my life, I hold on to that. I get attached, genuinely, and I try to take something good from everyone I meet. Friendship isn't background noise for me — it runs on its own priority thread
Small shoutout, because they've earned it: Ira, Alex, Iia, Yana, Katya, Sonya, Sasha, Dima, Yulia, Artem, Vika, Yehor, Nadya, Alyona, Olena, Maryna, Liza, Diana, Toma, Olya, Liuda — and plenty more who know who they are
That's the story so far. Yours next — say hello!
